The Events

There are seven main events organised by the club over the weekend running from Friday through to Sunday.

We encourage past teams or other groups to reach out to your network and decide how you will reconnect - either at one of these events or in a different setting over the weekend.

There is no registration fee for the weekend - the only event with an entry fee is the Gala Dinner at Te Papa - so please join us!

Friday 29 May

Meet and greet at the Clubrooms. We will kick off the weekend with informal drinks at the clubrooms in Hataitai along with the launch of Tim Donoghue's book on the first 50 years of Marist St Pats. Complimentary nibbles and canapes. Cash bar.

Saturday 30 May

Lunch at the Clubrooms. Kick off the big day of events with complimentary lunch at the clubrooms. This doubles as our Old Timers Day. A good way to get into the swing of things before heading down to watch some rugby with all teams playing locally. Cash bar.

Post-game at the Clubrooms. Compare your post-game analysis at the Clubrooms after the game. Cash bar.

Gala Dinner at Te Papa. The big event of the weekend is the Gala Dinner at Te Papa. The 50th Anniversary team will be named at this dinner. Cost is $150 per head including meal and drinks. This is outstanding value for an all-inclusive night at a premier Wellington venue.

Tickets are on sale now but strictly limited, email mspboardsec@gmail.com to secure your place.

Clubrooms on Saturday night. For those not attending the dinner, you will not miss out as we are preparing to host a huge event at the clubrooms. We expect it to be packed.

Sunday 1 June

Annual Club Mass at the Clubrooms. We will celebrate Mass at the clubrooms on Sunday morning.

Lunch at the Clubrooms. Following Mass we will serve lunch and open the bar for those who still have some friends to catch up with before enjoying the Monday to relax.

The Clubrooms

Our Hataiai Clubrooms have been given a makeover to prepare for this event. When you join us you will experience:

  • Renovated bar facilities
  • Marist St Pats memorabilia on display in the specially assembled 'Broad Room'
  • AV presentation on all TV screens
  • Highlighted photos of past teams and All Blacks
  • A bench to (re)take your team photo
  • Raffles for a limited edition 50th Anniversary jersey, 1 of only 25 produced
A professional photographer will be on hand to capture all events of the weekend.

The Merchandise

We have teamed up with our official apparel supplier to create a range of merchandise to acknowledge the occasion.

The speed-lane into the clubrooms

Due to liquor licensing regulations, all guests to the clubrooms are required to sign in at the door. This may take some time with a large number of people attending events.

To make your entry quicker, you can become a financial club member. Your membership card shown at the door means you will not need to sign in. Please consider membership for yourself and your partner.
