Top Junior prizewinners recognised
Congratulations to the top prizewinners from MSP's junior club, Siosaia Paese and Maletina Brown from the under 13s.
Siosaia (left) won the Jim O'Neil Trophy which recognises the Most Outstanding Player who shows honour, commitment and dedication to the club. Maletina won the Chris Horgan Memorial Trophy as the junior club's Most Outstanding Tackler.
The pair were members of the combined MSP-Ories-Poneke U13 Barbarians who had a great season. They are also Year 8 students at Holy Cross Convent in Miramar.
'Both players have outstanding ability and higher honours definitely await them both,' says Junior organiser Karin Graham. 'All Blacks and Silver Ferns - you heard it here first.'
The 8 September prizegiving was another great occasion, with the clubrooms packed with kids and parents. Here's the full list of junior prizewinners.
