All Shamrock Club members are invited to the season launch at the Hurricanes base and training facilities at Rugby League Park.

Saturday 10 April
MSP season launch
MSP's season will be launched after the first home game, against Poneke at Evans Bay. Bar specials, a karaoke, prizes, the Kids' Club - it's all happening at the Hataitai clubrooms from late afternoon onwards.
All teams, families, friends and supporters invited.

Saturday 15 May
Past Players and Supporters Day
(formerly Old Timers' Day)
The function this year is being held at the Evans Bay gymnasium to incorporate the launch of the new Honours Boards. Invitations have been sent to everyone named on the boards, plus life members and those who contributed to the Gym Foundation.
All club members, past players and supporters are invited. The programme is:

	11.45	Gym open and cash bar
	12.00	Lunch served
	12.30	Formalities and cut ribbon
	1.15	Senior 1 game starts
	4.30	Clubrooms open

The premiers are playing Petone, in Petone's 125th Jubilee year, at 3pm.
The post-match functions will be at the Hataitai clubrooms - everyone invited.

Saturday 29 May
The Hair Raiser
A charity fund-raising auction for people willing to shave their heads or wax their chests or legs for money. All funds to Ronald McDonald House.
Dress up in '60s and '70s gear, wear a wig. DJ, at the clubrooms.

A swept-up version of MSP Idol. MSP's stars come out to play - all teams to enter a representative in karaoke, group singing, dancing, whatever it takes...

Shamrock Club Test dinner
A social calendar highlight, the night before the All Blacks v South Africa test at the Stadium.
Two guest speakers: Gordon Tietjens and John McBeth.
From 7pm, MSP clubrooms.

Saturday 17 July
Test weekend - Boatshed open
The day of the All Blacks v South Africa test.
MSP's clubrooms at Hataitai are closed, and all the action moves to the Boatshed on the waterfront. Open from 3pm until late. Meals available. Big screen to watch the test.
