END-OF-SEASON TROPHIES: The premiers were presented the Andy Leslie Trophy at the Petone Rec on 28 July for winning the second round of Wellington club rugby.
The presentation was made by Andy Leslie (left) to MSP premier captain Craig Simeon. Andy is the president of the New Zealand Rugby Union, a former All Black captain, and a longtime member of the Petone club.
MSP won the trophy despite a last-gasp 34-39 loss to Petone.
They avenged that result on 4 August when they won the all-important semi-final 24-23, to book themselves a Jubilee Cup final at the Stadium.
