Monica signs with Bulldogs
On Saturday 10 May we had the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate our most decorated female player, Monica Tagoai, as she played her last game for Marist St Pats for a while.
Monica has signed with the Bulldogs for the upcoming NRLW competition and headed to Australia the week after.
Monica has been a stalwart of Marist St Pats for almost a decade. She was our first ever Black Fern and the first female player to win our Sportsperson of the Year Award. She helped lead Marist St Pats to our maiden Tia Paasi Memorial Trophy in 2023.
As great a player as she is, she is also an amazing human. She has been an outstanding ambassador for Marist St Pats over the years.
Congratulations Monica, we’ll be cheering you on all the way. It’s not goodbye, just ‘see you later’. All the best from your Marist St Pats family!
