Introducing Preston Moananu
Marist St Pats is again thrilled to welcome a number of school leavers, international players and other new players to the club in 2025. We'll introduce a number of them through player profiles during the season.
Name: Preston Moananu
High School: St Patrick’s College, Silverstream
Position: Lock/loose forward
Highlight of school rugby: Winning the Tranzit Coachlines 1st XV Premiership final against Wellington College in 2024.
What brought me to MSP: The massive support outside of rugby and in the workspace (Tomasi Warner)
First impressions at MSP: Very nice and welcoming club
Doing off the field: Working at Adecco recruitment as a Resource Consultant

Nick is also the founder of the mighty ‘MSP Internationals’, winning the WRFU Reserve Grade Division One in 2009 and 2012. Nick was part of 1998 MSP Colts which formed the bulk of the group.
