Premier Women finish first; Internationals go unbeaten

Our Premier Women have secured first place in the Tia Paasi Memorial Trophy after a 24-19 win over Northern United at Jerry Collins Stadium. The team also won the Challenge Cup from Norths, the first time our side have ever won this and will hold the cup over the summer. To be confirmed, but we expect they will host fourth placed Oriental-Rongotai in a semi final next week.

In the Swindale Shield, our Premier Men had an arm wrestle against Poneke with both teams scoring four tries. The team fell by 29-31, with two late penalties sailing wide that could have won the game. They will host Wainuiomata next week in a game that will be crucial for placings into the Jubilee Cup round.

The Internationals finished the first round of the Reserve grade (Division Two) unbeaten following a 57-7 win over OBU.
