No. 2, 11 June 2020
Dear
Rugby is back! The move to level one couldn't have come at a better time as we have a Preseason Gala Day this Saturday; the clubrooms will open on Saturday night with no social distancing restrictions. We're now just over a week away from competition games being played on 20 June and while celebrations have been delayed, it is still our 50th Jubilee year and we want to make it a great one...
Our players and club members have been starved of rugby over the past three months, that all changes this Saturday. We've got five games of preseason rugby planned at Evans Bay and Kilbirnie Park starting with the Under 12s and concluding with the Premiers taking on Poneke. Another big highlight will be the Colts hosting St Patrick's College 1st XV at 1.30pm. Full details... >>>
Competition matches kick off for our Premiers, Premier Reserves and Premier Women on Saturday 20 June; other grades get underway on 27 June. The competition format will look different to previous years to accommodate a condensed season caused by lockdown... >>>

Tim Donoghue's new book C'mon Red documenting 50 years of Marist St Pats rugby is very close to being published; it is a compelling read filled with characters, stories and events as they unfolded. We'll post details on the website when it is available to order... Congratulations to Mike Renouf who has taken up the position of Club Captain... We are still welcoming new players who want to play socially, get in touch if you know someone who would like to play... Our full Swindale Shield draw and Rebecca Liua'ana Trophy draw can be found on our website...
