Stability in 2022 coaching contingent

Coaches for our Premier Men, Premier Women, Premier Reserve and Colts grades have been confirmed for the 2022 season. The theme is stability with most of our coaching team returning for another season... >>>


Around the traps...

Super Rugby Pacific squads have been released this week, congratulations to Billy Proctor, Aidan Morgan (Hurricanes), Naitoa Ah Kuoi, Tyrone Thompson (Chiefs) and Jonathan Taumateine (Moana Pasifika) who will compete in Super Rugby Pacific in 2022... Earlier in the month, the inaugural Super Rugby Aupiki squads were named. Congratulations to Ana Afuie, Lyric Faleafaga and Monica Tagoai (Hurricanes) and Marcelle Parkes (Matatū) who will make history in 2022... There is a one off pre-season training on Wednesday 8 December at 6pm at Evans Bay Park, followed by a BBQ. New and returning players are encouraged to join us along with coaches and management from all teams... Last Friday our Shamrock Club connected at New Zealand Rugby headquarters following the Covid-19 cancellation of the annual test match dinner. Thank you to all our Shamrock Club members for your ongoing support... Earlier in the month we farewelled Brian and Carole Coulter who are making the move to sunny Bay of Plenty; it was a great opportunity to recognise one of the true legends of our club...  All the best to Ross Bond who has taken the helm at St Patrick's College as 1st XV coach and welcome to new St Pat's Director of Rugby Chris Stirling... The 2022 season will kick off on 2 April, with Wellington Rugby confirming the Premier format will be retained for next three years...
