No. 5, 5 September 2022
Dear
The 2022 season is now in the books, with the season finishing on a high with the Internationals completing an unbeaten season and winning the Alan Seerup Cup!
2022 will be remembered as a season where the club came together across the grades. We've seen collaboration with our Senior and Junior clubs with the 'MAP to One Club' programme; strong relationships built with St Patrick's College and other college's in the Marist network; our Premier Women compete in their first ever Tia Paasi Memorial Cup Final; the Under 85s and Netballers contest their grade finals; and many individual milestones met. It's now the time of the year to acknowledge the season that's been and look ahead to next year...
The Internationals completed the 2022 club season with a 13-8 win over rivals Upper Hutt Rams J8s. This saw them go unbeaten on the season and win the title in their 15th season...

Around the traps
The Marist St Pats Management Committee is excited to share that the club will be installing a new honours board at our Evans Bay gymnasium to recognise our Premier Women's players who reach the milestone of 50 games. Given the number of games each season is fewer than their male counterparts, this is a significant achievement and one that a number of players have reached in the past few years. We look forward to acknowledging these milestones... We also want to acknowledge our Club Captain, Mike Renouf, who has departed these shores to return to the UK with his wife Sam. Mike has been our Club Captain for the past three seasons and been a huge contributor to our rugby teams and the Management Committee. He's been active in his support of our teams and a key fixture on the social calendar. Mike and Sam have landed back in London and we wish them all the best. The Management Committee is inviting interest for being our new Club Captain in 2023; please contact Rob Evans... The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 22 November at the clubrooms; mark it in your calendars now... Congratulations to Chicago Doyle and Noah Guise were recently named in the Wellington Under 19 squad... Former Marist St Pats President Ken Ah Kuoi is standing for the Motukairangi/Eastern Ward in the upcoming local body elections. You can follow Ken's campaign on Facebook...
