Offseason training wraps up with big numbers

Our eight week Offseason Training programme wrapped up on Wednesday 13 December with a large turnout of players, management and club members.

The programme introduced players to our new Strength and Conditioning Coach, Joe Collins, who joined the club with experience in professional rugby in the United Kingdom. The number of players participating grew steadily through November and December culminating in some of the highest participation we've seen for training before Christmas.

While players enjoyed noticeable gains in their conditioning, the most encouraging observations from observers was the positive atmosphere and vibe amongst the players. It was great to see so many school leavers and new players joining us.

The programme finished with a BBQ that was attended by a large group of players and supporters to connect before the holiday break. Big thanks to Soody, Porky and Katrina for putting on a massive spread that included Christmas ham!

The Preseason Training programme kicks off on 10 January. All welcome, more information here.
