Women's team to boast experienced coaching team

The coaches for our Women's team have been confirmed for the 2017 season; the team will be mentored by three Premier players who boast over 300 caps between them.

Marist St Pats Centurion Ryan Setefano will return as Head Coach and will be joined by club legend Fa'atonu Fili (Backs and Team Skills) and loose forward Lucky Tuia (Forwards).

Following the successful return to the Women's grade in 2016, the coaches are focused on building the skill level of the team and providing a supportive environment to new players.

Pre-season trainings are on Wednesday nights at 6pm and Saturday mornings at 10am (same as the men). During the season, training is on Monday and Wednesday nights at the Evans Bay gym and training grounds.

The team and club will always welcome and encourage women to take up rugby at MSP, if you are interested in playing but would like to get some more information please email us and check out the teams Facebook page.
