2017 Annual Report released
The 2017 Marist St Pats Annual Report has been released ahead of the club's Annual General Meeting on 30 November at the Evans Bay gymnasium.
In the Chairman's Report, Mike Hansen summarises the 2017 season as mixed, both on and off the field:
'The 2017 season was mixed both on and off the field. On the field we were close in many cases, but not close enough at the end of the season. But while we didn’t quite get the results we wanted, it wasn’t through lack of trying. We all saw the passion, commitment, energy and time that was put in by many across the club, from thebeginning of off-season training to the final whistle. Thank you all for that.'
There are plenty of positive messages littered through the reports of management and team officials with some particular highlights being the success of the Women's team, some significant player milestones, the efforts of volunteers and the laying of solid foundations for next season.
