Registration Process and Fees

Marist St Pats is one of Wellington's proudest and most successful sports clubs. It has a welcoming family atmosphere and a vibrant 'club culture' that extends to our large and well-run junior club.

The registration process for the junior club requires that you:
  1. Complete a form to record player details and other contact information (form varies according to whether you are a New or Returning player).
  2. Make payment of your subscription fees
  3. Attend one of the registration events to collect your player jersey for the season, mouth-guard and weigh-in (tackle grades only).

Subscription Fees

MSP Junior Rugby offers excellent facilities at an affordable price.

Subscription fees for the 2023 season are as follows:

  • Little Rippas (Nursery): For kids aged 2-4 - $40

  • RipRugby and Tackle (New Players) - $50

  • RipRugby and Tackle - (Returning players) - $65 per returning player or $115 per family with two or more players.

Our subscription fees are payable online or at a registration event.

Player weights and grading

For tackle rugby, players are allocated to grades based on their school year and weight.

The grade allocation is a two-step process:

  1. School year and indicative weight are provided via the online registration process (New or Returning player registration).
  2. Weight and grade are confirmed in person during registration events (weigh-ins).

If you have any questions you would like to ask before you join please contact the Junior Rugby convenor at MSPjuniorrugby@gmail.com.
