Registration Process and Fees

Marist St Pats is one of Wellington's proudest and most successful sports clubs. It has a welcoming family atmosphere and a vibrant 'club culture' that extends to our large and well-run junior club.

The registration process for the junior club requires that you:
  1. Complete a form to record player details and other contact information (form varies according to whether you are a New or Returning player).
  2. Make payment of your subscription fees
  3. Attend one of the registration events to collect your player jersey for the season, mouth-guard and weight-in (tackle grades only).

Subscription Fees

MSP Junior Rugby offers excellent facilities at an affordable price.

Subscription fees for the 2021 year are as follows:

  • Little Rippas (Nursery): For kids aged 2-4 - $30 for the entire season

  • RipRugby and Tackle (New Players) - $25 for the entire season

  • RipRugby and Tackle - (Returning players) - $50 per returning player or $90 per family with two or more players.

Our subscription fees are payable online or at a registration event.

Player weights and grading

For tackle rugby, players are allocated to grades based on age and weight.

Weights and grade allocation is a three step process:

  1. Indicative weights are confirmed during registration via online forms (New or Returning player registration).
  2. Weights are reconfirmed during registration events (weigh-ins).
  3. Final formal weight confirmation is carried out at the City Zone weigh-in event.
