Premier Reserves, Women and Colts remain unbeaten

Our Premier Reserves and Colts earned close victories over their Old Boys-University counterparts in the early games at Evans Bay on Saturday afternoon to stay unbeaten in their respective competitions. Watch the try that sealed the Premier Reserve win below.

Earlier at Hutt Rec our Premier Women claimed their second successive win with a 35-19 win over Hutt Old Boys Marist. Fullback Jane Bryce was a perfect five-from-five with the boot and scored a try for good measure. Midfielder Monica Tagoa'i had two tries of her own for the second straight week.

In their Swindale Shield match our Premiers came up against their biggest challenge of the season in defending champions Old Boys-University. Our young forward pack struggled to achieve parity with a big, experienced OBU pack and as such the side didn't spend much time in their opposition half. After trailing 5-20 at the half, we eventually fell 17-32 with second half tries to Tom Horan and Andrew Wells.

Our Premiers and Premier Reserves have a short turnaround as they travel to Hutt Rec on Wednesday for an ANZAC Day clash with Petone before hosting Hutt Old Boys Marist next Saturday - also our Past Players and Supporters Day.
