Women's team well supported

With the season now in full swing our Premier Women have got off to a good start with two wins from two games and they are currently tied in first place on the Rebecca Liua’ana Trophy table.

One of the keys to any team's success on the field is having a strong support team off it. This season the team is blessed with a great group of managers, coaches, photographers, families and non-playing supporters who are keen to see the team reach their potential.

Introducing our support team:

Coaches: Ryan Setefano, Lucky Tuiatua, Fa’atonu Fili, Kas Lealamanua

Managers: Agnes Va’aua, Regina Rose-Setefano, Taofia Bryce

Photographer: Jeanette Rose

Physio/Medic: Luke Donaldson

On-field supporters: Shannah Va’aua, Iakopo Selu, Helen Vaimoli, Lena Pasene, including those that are injured and unable to play.

Along with the players, the support team are very excited to be involved with Marist St Pats, specifically in support of the Women’s Team for the 2018 season.

While in recent months the team has said farewell to some key players who have moved on to pursue their life’s journeys/dreams, the good news is that a whole raft of new players have been welcomed into the Marist St Pats family. We have also inherited their families who have turned out in numbers to support on the sideline.

In their next game, this Saturday 28 April, our Women will host Northern United at Prince of Wales Park #2. We look forward to seeing as many supporters as possible as we take on a team that has been the benchmark in Women's rugby in recent years.
