Women looking to build on last season's success

The Marist St Pats Women’s team is looking keen and energetic, they’ve all put in a lot of work collectively and individually over the off season and have come together to create a nice culture here at MSP.

Following an outstanding 2017 season that saw them named Marist St Pats' 'Team of the Year' we had a large number of ladies enquiring about playing for MSP. From those enquiries we have had 13 new registrations, of those that registered the following will be playing in the 2018 season:

Marist St Pats Womens
Offseason additions
Gretta Dette Michael Setefano
Marine-Bay Faatuono-Tuioti Mariner

Jordan Teo

Alaynah Failava

Chayna Va

Kjersti Faraimo

Shiovaun Va

Gwendoline Foliga

April Va'auli

Marcelle Parkes

Luisa Tapusoa

We are very blessed to have this many women choose to commit to Marist St Pats for this season.

Unfortunately, Cheyne Copeland has suffered an injury but we are hopeful that she may be able to train and be back on the field as soon as she is cleared.

Finally, the time has come for the ladies to lace up and prepare for this weekend’s battle on the rugby field.

Going off pre-season results it looks like this will be a very exciting and competitive season.
