Merry Christmas from Marist St Pats

A message from Chairman Rob Evans...

2020 has been a year for the record books in so many ways. The Covid-19 pandemic has seen the world deal with challenges that most of us have not experienced in our lifetime. The impacts to rugby are small in the global scheme of things, but nevertheless the pandemic through up circumstances that we have never had to deal with before.

I'm really proud of how the club came together to face these challenges together; from looking out for our players welfare, managing uncertain finances, playing a condensed season, and postponing our 50th Jubilee celebrations.

We've come through it all together and can sit back and reflect on a successful season with a number of individual and team achievements on and off the field, silverware in the trophy cabinets, and a strong club spirit.

2021 is shaping up to be another great year for the club with an experienced coaching team named, plenty of great young talent and our belated 50th Jubilee celebrations to look forward to at Queens Birthday.

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the summer with your nearest and dearest and can take some time to recharge. Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Rob
