Juniors Rugby

MSP offer tackle rugby teams for the following grades:

• Year 3
• Year 4
• Year 5
• Year 6
• Year 7
• Year 8

When

Tackle rugby games are held on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings at times that will vary according to the team and grade.

There are two rounds in the season with a break for school holidays in the middle:

• Round 1 will run from 4 May - 6 July (10 games)
  
• Round 2 will run from 27 July - 31 August (6 games)

Practice

Practice sessions are held at the MSP gym which is located at Evans Bay Park (next to St Pats College). The gym is available to the junior club between 5-6pm. Your coach will agree the training night and timing with the team in advance of the season. Practice is a fun event for the players where they are able to develop their friendships as well as their skills.
